David Lamb’s Ipswich Half Maraton

David Lamb (1)

I am running the Ipswich half marathon again for Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust because I really want to help make someone smile.

Please help me raise money for a fantastic charity that was set up in honour of my late cousin who’s bravery and strength inspires me and many others everyday.

This is a small local charity that does fantastic work granting wishes for the sick children and every penny we raise means so much.

Please visit my just giving page to donate

Joshua & Tony’s London to Paris Cycle Ride

London to Paris Final

On September 16th my Dad and I are Cycling the 300 miles from London to Paris in aid of The Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust.

The Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust was established in April 2014 in the memory of my late fiancée who sadly passed away from end stage Cystic Fibrosis at the age of just 23. Kerry fought many battles in her lifetime but always done so with a smile on her face, positivity in her heart and immense strength and will power to face up to any “bumps” she faced along the road … and we will certainly be drawing upon that attitude and inspiration to complete this challenge…. hopefully avoiding any “bumps” either here or over in France (excuse the pun!)

Whilst Kerry was with us, she worked tirelessly to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and the desperate need for Organ Donation. Sadly Kerry’s Transplant call never came in time for her but at The Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust we aim to continue her hard work, along with granting wishes and presenting birthday gifts for children in Suffolk with Cystic Fibrosis.

Thank you for taking time to read our story, and we hope you choose to donate to our challenge as a result of it on our just giving page –

On a side note, we are looking for local businesses who would be interested in sponsoring our race suits to get in touch. We will be displaying logo’s on the suits, plan to hold events in the lead up to our challenge, as well as local press coverage where we’ll do our best to publicise your businesses. If you feel this would interest you, please get in touch via

Thank you again,

Joshua & Tony

Carl Simpson’s Brecon Beacons 50km Ultra Marathon

Carl Simpson

I will be taking part in a 50km (31 miles) Ultra Maraton on 20th May. It will take place in the Brecon Beacons, so not only will the distance be a challenge but also the terrain. I’m hoping to complete it within 8 hours.

I will be doing this to help raise money for the Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust, a charity that is close to my heart.

Please help this fantastic cause by sponsoring me at:

Lisa Alexander’s Insane Terrain Muddy Obstacle Race

Lisa Alexander (4)

I am competing in a muddy obstacle course/race for Kerry Alex Thorpe Trust because this charity is close to my heart. My aim is to finish this race with 2 laps not just 1 like last year, that’s my personal goal. But more importantly this charity has pulled at my heart strings these guys deserve all the help they can possibly get as they lost Kerry to this horrendous illness and if i can help in a small way then that is what I will do.

Please donate what you can no matter how small,

Thanks, Lisa x
